Life Groups are the heart of our church ministry, where “something genuine” exists. Just as Jesus lived his life in the setting of a small group (the twelve disciples), we believe that life, ministry, growth, encouragement, and accountability best happen in the setting of our life groups.

There are currently over 20 life groups meeting every night of the week (except Sunday) at homes of FOM members on the first and third weeks of the month.  The groups work through a variety of Bible studies on topics ranging from marriage to dealing with everyday issues.  The meetings usually last about 2 hours, including a time of fellowship at the beginning of the meeting time.  Many of the groups welcome children in the homes where the groups meet.

Fellowship of the Metroplex has developed a guide for Life Groups that explains the biblical basis for Life Groups and describes how Jesus himself led a small group of 12 people. The guide also includes practical advice about hosting and leading Life Groups. Click here to read the Life Groups Guide.
