What is a genuine family connection?

At Fellowship of the Metroplex we desire to see people experience a genuine family connection. You may be asking yourself, “what does that look like?”

Let’s break it down:

• Genuine—something real, something of value
• Family—A group of people linked together by a common bond
• Connection—To play an integral part, to belong   

When you combine these ideas you get a clearer picture of what God intended the Church to look like. 

Loving God, Loving Others

When pushed on the issue of what matters most, Jesus answered:

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.  Matt. 22:37-40 ESV

Never has such a simple statement meant so much. In a busy culture it is easy to miss the beauty of the simple.
